Girls, is Jason Statham as hot as we're lead to believe? I think he's pretty average with his balding pate and rough features, but in films he's always portrayed as ladies' man. However, I'm not the target demographic of his looks, so I would like to have proper opinions. Would you do the same as Becky the cable girl did in this film and just drop to bed with him if he only asks nicely?

Yeah, we Americans definitely dig British accents of all stripes. Well, maybe except for a pure cockney one, and he wasn't all cockneyed up in this role.

shareI actually found his character's ladies' man attitude to be forced and annoying. He's certainly on the attractive side and I would probably drop my pants if I met him at a bar, but there are other actors out there who are naturally sexier.

He's definitely hot, I don't care about his body but he's nice looking in a manly way, he's not a pretty boy and the accent certainly helps :)

Another hetero male here, chiming in. I would go gay for Cary Grant - okay, he's dead, so maybe not. For living actors, George Clooney, or at least George Clooney of about 10 years ago or so. He's looking a little old lately. To me, these guys are manly men. Suave, debonair. Good tans.
But yeah, Brad Pitt? And I'm talking about a young Brad Pitt from, say, about 20 years ago? Waaaaay too much of a pretty boy. Not going gay for him, no way, no how.
On the other hand, and reaching the question of the post, Statham? I won't go gay for him. He doesn't do it for me. But I do see the manliness, the swagger, the charm. He's a man's man, all right. Nothing pretty about him at all. So, yeah, I see why women would go for the guy.
