I'm sure this topic was discussed, however I want to ask again. This movie did well at the box office. It set itself up perfectly for a sequel. For a while there was talk of a sequel titled The Brazilian Job. I just can't understand why they never followed up this film with a sequel, especially in light of it's success financially.

shareCertainly not down to its return in profit (it was Paramount Pictures biggest movie of 2003.... but was still waaaaaaaaaaaaay behind what other studios made in profit with the likes of Nemo, POTC, X2, Bruce Almighty, LoTR's etc) but think its just a case of getting a script that they felt would work (The Brazilian Job seems to be a bit of a Chinese whispers of a script....some folk say it exists, others say it doesn't)
