Annette Bening beautiful

I have never seen Annette Bening shown to better advantage. She is understated, plays her age (more or less) and looks like a beautiful 19th century frontier woman. No make-up, and doesn't need any. Perfect in the role.

Completely agree. She was a highlight of the film with her subtle, understated performance. A pleasure to watch and listen to.

Her romance with Costner in the film was very touching.

Hey Buxtehude,

Every statement of every clause in you post is absolutely on the mark. This was a great film with great characters and a great story.

Best wishes,

Yes, WOW, I thought this was made in the 90's, because Annette Bening was so healthy and youthful in this! Easily THE best thing in this overrated, droll, subpar "Western"! Spanked it to her a few times, fer sure!

reply

She was perfect for the part of Sue in the best role I've seen her in since American Beauty.

reply

Annette's a babe, and she's aging very well. She's always looked good to me, though.

This is a movie discussion board, not a masturbation site. Your post makes you look less than intelligent, man.

I AM less than intelligent, but my theory still stands! Now tell me yous all weren't thinking the same thing?

reply

Yup. Nothing like keeping it classy.

I think there are about four people left in America who can call a woman "beautiful" and just leave it at that.

reply

Probably true, emncaity. Counting you and me,, they are all in this thread. 

If you see exactly what to do don't tell ME! I'm just a singer in a rock&roll band!

Agree with the OP. I damn near fell in love myself.

reply

Indeed. She looked fabulous.

Yea, she simply glowed and gave off a warmth that was incredible. Contrast that with today's females who want to look only like F#ck-toys. It's the difference between a real woman and a mere plaything.

Couldn't agree more. She is definitely aging gracefully; like fine wine. I found her acting in this film to be excellent as well. Totally believable. I absolutely love it when she strides up to all those shootists; totally unintinmidted by all the guns; and slaps the $#@& out of the sheriff. Sue was well written and Ms.Bening knocked the role out of the park IMHO.

She is a natural beauty. As a woman, I'm envious that she wore very little makeup in this film and was just gorgeous!
