Lordy, i go away on holiday to Italy for a month, and upon my return find a Huge response to TSD! Well Done Keith, you really started something !
I still havent caught this new version here in the UK yet but i am really looking forward to seeing it.
To all the other writers / reviewers here, I really Do urge you to try a hunt down a copy of the Original Singing Detective.....it caused a furore when first aired due to its sexual content ( mostly from an interfering old now deceased busybody called Mary Whitehouse and her self-righteous National Viewers and Listeners Association) and no, the series was not Universaly loved, but upon the passing of the years and the shocking decline in standards, its qualities have proved the defeater of time and its now rightfully regarded as probably one of the finest Drama Film ever made on British TV.
I once again wish you well Mr Gordon in any future endeavours, and look forward to seeing your muse soon!
