TSD Documentary on the Sundance Channel
Hi,
For all of you who have been enthusiastically discussing The Singing Detective here on this message board, this will likely be of interest. If you have the Sundance Channel, you'll be able to enjoy the documentary described below about the making of one scene in the film. I would guess our friend Keith is in it...
Go to the website shown below for more information. Times may differ in your area and various cable companies may also change the schedule, but you can register on the sight and indicate your cable carrier & they will give you the right schedule and even email you a reminder.

Anatomy of a Scene: The Singing Detective (30 MINS, Color )
"Anatomy of a Scene" delves into the creative decisions faced by filmmaker Keith Gordon and his collaborators when bringing to the screen the late Dennis Potter's The Singing Detective. Potter, Britain's most acclaimed TV playwright, wrote this story for an award-winning BBC miniseries broadcast in 1986, and subsequently adapted it as a theatrical feature set in America. In Gordon's new film, Robert Downey Jr. plays a hospitalized pulp novelist who, with the help of a psychiatrist (Mel Gibson), attempts to unravel his own personal mystery.
