Meeting SideTracked in Chicago

Director Keith Gordon is as nice in person as he is here on the site!!!

Some fellow fans and I were lucky enough to get to meet him before the screening of "The Singing Detective" at the Chicago Film Festival. It was a real treat to meet him and he was gracious enough to talk to us for a moment.

One of my friends, Joyce, met Keith at both the Mill Valley Festival and in Chicago. So we had "inside connection" to get ourselves introduced to Keith.

She's still floating on air! Lucky gal got a big hug from the show's star Robert Downey Jr and he signed her necktie, which she bought at a FOX auction, it's the tie Downey wore on an episode of Ally McBeal. Mr. Downey was very friendly and pleasant to everyone too. When you see him in person it eliminates any doubts about his well-being. The man looks great!

After seeing the movie all I can say is WOW! I did worry that after following the progress of this film for about two years now that it might not live up to my expectations, but it exceeded them! So, when the movie finally reaches my little town I'm going to drag all my friends to see it.

Maybe our little group will see you again at the Oscars! *fingers crossed*
