i really didnt get this movie that well all the people he saw in the 30s was that in his head and the robin wright peen chracter was she real or fake and was she bad cause when she is in the hospital visitin she says she tried to get the script from him.

the 30's parts were in his head/book..the character of his wife as played by robin wright penn was real, but her character in his book-nina, was not. she was not bad, but dark's paranoia was making him think that she was.. so the scenes where she says she was trying to get the script from him.. the scenes where she is typing it on the computer, those are all just his imagination and paranoia.
