In my dreams

I seem to be the only one who actully liked this movie alot!
I thought downey was doing a great work!

I'll have to take a look at the original movie.

anyway, to my question.

Do anyone know where i can find the end song performed by Robert Downey Jr called In my dreams?

I can't find it anywhere!

I like it a lot too, but this is probably because I haven't seen the TV series it was based on. They say the American version doesn't hold a candle to the British version. But by itself, without any prejudice or preconceived notions about it, it's pretty great. Did Bobby Darin sing all of the songs Robert Downey was singing in the film?

If you get the soundtrack of TSD, in addition to the CD you will find a video of Robert singing "In My Dreams". It is great...everyone should have it.

No, Bobby Darin did not sing the songs....they were the original artists and Robert was lip-synching....that was as Dennis Potter wrote it.....he did the screenplay himself before he died in the mid 90's...he meant it to be an 1:48 film....not a condensed re-write of the mini-series. After he saw Robert in "Chaplin" he said Robert would be his choice to play the part of Dan Dark. Had he seen the finished product, he would have been thrilled; Robert's performance was brilliant, Keith Gordon did an amazing job of directorship....hehe, not sure if that is in Webster's....Mel of course, was unrecognizable but perfect as the shrink. I won't name them all...I just sliced my fingers along with the roast tonite, hard to type..but the whole cast was fantastic. You really need to see it more than once....each time you discover so much more... I think one day it will get the recognition it so well deserves.

To my delight I found this on YouTube:

It's so much better than the original version that Robert lipsynchs to in the movie.
