Worth watching?
I see it got a not-so-good raitng, but that doesn't completely turn me off, as i see plenty of mixed reviews

It's bloody awful. I got through about 40 minutes of it and I couldn't take it anymore, despite a pretty amazing performance by Mel Gibson. It's ugly both visually and psychologically. Plus, if you've seen one Dennis Potter film, you've seen 'em all.
shareIt starts off pretty ugly and dark but it's actually a pretty good movie if you're a RDJ fan and you can sit through the first twenty minutes of all the weird avant-garde stuff.

Agree w/ Lovesbitcka. It's not bad, worth watching if you're an RDJ fan or a really big Dennis Potter fan. The BBC miniseries starring Michael Gambon is much better, but it's also much longer and not to everyone's tastes. RDJ and Robin Wright are both very good in this. It's not a very long movie, so it's worth a watch if it piques your curiousity at all.
I know I'm shouting, I like to shout.
And not only that, RDJ sings at the end (and is quite good)! I love his version of "In my Dreams."

39% on rotten tomatoes. Nuff said.
Watch the TV series instead. Absolutely superb.
