Mega plothole, interesting racial aspect

This movie is made by an afroamerican and takes place in Africa you know, where they have black folks, they are supposed to humanize these ppl in this movie and send a clear message about equality to the whites in aamerica, then how come when Willis asks his men if they are in or not before the last shootout at the border, he asks all of his men except for Zee who is the black guy in the team. It's like his opinion didn't matter.

What's up with that? I didn't concentrate that hard during the movie but I watched the scene again. Am I missing something?

I noticed it second time around. Zee wasn't even in that scene, maybe he was on lookout duty. I think it was taken as read that he was in it for the duration because of the promise he'd made to Patience to reunite her with her daughter.

This means something, this is important.

What do you mean? Zee came to Bruce Willis saying these villagers are his people and he is willing to go all the way. After all the other guys shared their opinions.

Lepkeleh, Please elucidate on OP's idiocy. I do not see evidence of such a condition. I do see that OP was in error, there was no actual plothole, but it was an intelligent question, intelligently asked. If you are just being contrary or trolling pleaase do not bother to respond.

That's what I thought, you're just trolling. The movie itself wasted your time, the OP wasted your time, and I infer I am wasting your time, yet you take time, to respond to posts that you profess to care nothing about. Talk about a waste of time. Furthermore, while wasting your valuable time responding to my post, you ignore my request and demand that I answer your questions first. Then you say that no matter what I answer you aren't going to respond. Wasting your time to ask questions, the answers to which are of no interest to you.
For all I know the OP is an idiot, I saw no evidence of it being so. I merely asked for evidence for your judgement. Instead you waste your time with a snide reply, even after I said you could ignore me, which would have saved you time to make meaningful replies in other threads.

My post was made because I am trying to understand why so many responders to OPs appear to have to build their egos by being rude. It is especially puzzling to me when the overall subject of the board and the original post are of no interest, i.e. a waste of time, to the responder. If there is interest, one can disagree without resorting to insults and name calling and usually to greater effect.

No reply is expected as I'm sure you have better things to do with your time.

( Emphasis mine, and this would be a case on 'non-statement' perhaps.)

Now as it turns out there was no plothole, or at best a minor one, as notsocrazyroy and clayjar point out, but masurra knows the meaning of plothole, used the "term" correctly, and explained why it was used.

" 'Plothole' term," really? Mayhap you meant, "...the word 'plothole'" or "..the term 'plothole.'" Compare to saying, "the plothole word." It reads as if you are using 'plothole' to mean some other word that would not be allowed in polite society, or even on these very impolite boards.

Although to me it's not becoming a "big" question, but I have to admit that it also happened to me right where the scene runs - when LT asking his men, I realized that Zee is "missing". But on the contrary of what you think "it's like his opinion didn't matter", IMHO the movie give a "special" portion (only between LT and Zee) for Zee to give his opinion right after they are dismissed. Also, it seems LT didn't ask each of his man by name but Red.

Actually Zee is not the only black guy. Silk was black and he was asked to which he replied I can't leave them.
