The memories this game brings back

I was constantly on the road for weeks at a time and was bored much of that time. One day I finally broke down and bought this game not expecting to like it but wanted to find out what the hype was all about. It lived up to the hype and more. For the most part I loved just driving around exploring the islands listening to Radio Espantoso and trying to behave as much as possible but that never worked out. No matter how I tried I'd end up with a four-star wanted level and a caravan of police behind me reminiscent of the Blues Brothers movie. There was one incident that had me laughing for hours. As usual, I had a dozen cop cars chasing when I saw the road in front of me blocked with two SWAT vans and they were shooting at me. I sped up planning to ram the road block then bailed out of the car at the last second then watched my car, along with the entire police force following me, plow into the SWAT vans killing them all while I just walked away. It was a sight to behold. Anyway, that lead to a five-star wanted level and I didn't last for long after that.

If ever there was a game that needed to be updated to today's technology it's this one. Well, this one and Redneck Rampage.
