A Time To Kill its my fovorite of his check it out.

reply

Yea, A Time To Kill is one of my favorites also

reply

I wanna see the Summons come out. That couild be a pretty good movie.

reply

"Time To Kill" is his best book - and if you read the others, you need to spread them out because they do become rather formulaic...

Grisham's books are usually much better than the movies. Films made include The Firm, The Rainmaker, The Client, Runaway Jury. Do try to read his legal books.

reply

I've read a number of his books and was told by someone that Runaway Jury wasn't known as one of his best, but I probably enjoyed it more than the others I have read.

Most Grisham films are mentioned in the posts above. If you want to see his best films you should see 'The Firm', ' A Time To Kill' and possibly ' The Client'.

The Firm and Runaway Jury are the best Grisham films ever made in my opinion.

reply

I would love to see The Brethen made into a movie. I've read almost all of Grisham's books and seen all the movies, imo A Time To Kill is the best movie. I just wished they had kept with the orignal story in Runaway Jury it's one of my favorites alone with The Brethen

In my order of preference...

Runaway Jury
The Client,
A Time To Kill
The Firm
The Pelican Brief
The Rainmaker
The Chamber

See The Pelican Brief. That was my favorite.

reply

read most of John's books, from the torts to the innocent man,
have to say they are much better than the movies in which the commercial elemets really reduce the original charms crafted by John

reply

I am glad someone mentioned THE PELICAN BRIEF, which also was a pretty decent film with a terrific cast. I certainly agree with many others here that A TIME TO KILL may be about your best choice. But I also loved THE FIRM, both as a book and a movie.

reply

I heard George Clooney bought the rights to Innocent Man. I hope they make a good film out of that. One of the most compelling and outrageous stories of miscarriage of justice I've ever read. And it's true story.
