that celeste wood needs to die. i am not even joking if this happened in real life and i had any kind of power i would have her killed in less than a week after she got her money. there is no way someone is going to get 110 million dollars for there husband being killed by a crazy man and blame it on the president of the gun company that made the gun. how many employees are going to lose there jobs at the gun company because of her? she was wealthy and didn't want to have to fend for herself after her husband died. eff that!!!!
this movie riles me up more than any other movie. every time i see that woman's face i want to gouge her eyes out.
I understand how you feel by now. It seems we make nothing here anymore...but guess what? If those gun manufacturers find a way around any law that stipulates their parts be made here, they too will ship those jobs overseas.
There are no safe jobs globally anymore. None.
Undertaking? Cremation?
People will donate their bodies to science and save their families the money.
Nursing? Hate to break it to you, but the job that could never be replaced is quickly being worked on by robotic engineers who could then ensure less human error or the occasional drug diversion.
Doctors?
Getting more spread apart by the day.
Lawyers?
People still need them; but thanks to all the legal reality shows, they are starting to figure out what enables a easier win; writing, records, signatures, contracts...
this is a different world do you know where it's going?
When it reaches the occasional panics, I'd like a gun around. I hate the thought that there will be assault capable ordnance firepower facing me. I just want to be safe, not mount a war.
The Second Amendment was made in a time when no one was sure what the ending ofthe Revolution would be yet, still. There were many awful and brutal little wars being fought in this great country. I hope with all my heart we don't go back there....
She sued as she is entitled to as anyone can sue for any reason any time. Unless you want to remove the legal system then the only solution is to reform it and the crazy payouts. I thought $10million was crazy and when they added on $110million i almost died.
Your position is hypocritical though. You blaming her is no different than her blaming the manufacturers. If the manufacturers cannot be held accountable she cannot be held accountable for that payout sum.
What does her personal economic circumstances have to do with it?
