How cold-hearted are a lot of you!

I'm hearing from a lot of people on this board, trying to make the gun lobby the victims, and saying that the victim's wife should have no right to sue them.

I have noticed a lot on this site, some of the biggest collection of self-righteous, cold-hearted *beep* I have heard from. Don't a lot of you people have any compassion, or are you all so corrupted that you don't care about other people anymore. You praise criminals, and tell victims to get over it.

I pray that none of you ever experience something similar happening to you. But maybe then you will understand, and have more empathy.

You lot need to see someone about your issues, and disrespect for authority!

yep...its so easy to make outrageous bold stupid comments on a blog or post...being brave and controversial when you are not face to face with someone...one of the downsides to this otherwise great site.

reply

Why? What would you do if we were face-to-face? Hit me for disagreeing with you? That would just prove what a low-life you truly are!

reply

Whoa...read my post again.

I was agreeing with you. I was not commenting about you but those that say controversial things "like screw the widow, she deserved nothing"...things they would never say in public.

reply

Who praised the criminals? All they're saying is that it wasn't the gun company's fault that some nutjob shot those people.

The gun company complied with all the legal requirements pertaining to the sale of firearms. You can't penalize someone who didn't commit a crime. That's insane.

It doesn't make it less of a tragedy to say whose fault it was and wasn't.

reply

Some say its cold hearted, others realize that somebody has to be the grown up and see things with logic and reason instead of emotion.

reply

What do you say about the thousands upon thousands of guns that are manufactured and sold and are never used to commit a crime? Are manufacturers to be held liable for the misuse of their products? I wonder if I could get really really drunk, go out driving, smash my car into a guardrail and then sue the distillery that manufactured that alcohol that I willingly abused? If I smashed into a another car and injured a driver, could that driver sue that distillery?

reply

and if you make such a willfully stupid argument in front of a judge, they would toss you out of the court..
Seriously, what are you comparing here..
hos is this get drunk, blow away your wife and kids, and then try as a defense that Jose Cuervo should be the one going to jail, not you since it changed your state of mind and you did not know what you were doing

reply

If you drank two bottles of wine, got in your car and killed someone, would you blame Ford for making the car?

reply

....or Gallo for making the wine?

No.....blame is on the drunk driver as per our example, but in the movie, the nutjob has no money, or is in custody/dead.....so go after the ppl with money. The gun company.

It is odd (no not really, it is a political agenda) that Bud, Miller, Bacardi, Jack Daniels never get sued for drunk driver crashes that kill.....why is that????

reply

Because the agenda is to eliminate guns for the public. God forbid they eliminate booze.

Your post is essentially that we should do the wrong thing just because we feel like it. Your post sucks. You literally did not put forth any argument other than pure emotion.
