story was changed from chicago to florida
i bought the script in 2012 and just now got around to reading it lol. had no idea they made the locale change like that. but, brilliant move by Carl Franklin, imo.
i think the swampy-beach-island setting added a HUGE amount of just the right flavor to this film.
