Why don't you people give movies a chance before you judge them damn thats the least you can do. Every movie message board i go to says i ain't gonna see this it looks like crap, how can you judge movies before you have seen them. Just give them a chance.

Because, my dear friend, it simply isn't worth the money. And besides, if you go to see film, which already looks like crap both in the trailer and on the poster, then when you find out that it actually is crap - it's too late. You've already payed, and the studios have gotten their money, and they think: "everybody saw it, so they must like it", and by God they make another! No I say, don't give them a chance, wait for the dvd...
How many here can say the weren't disappointed by "LXG"? that should have been a bigger flop than it was. The studios have to learn to make better films!!!

Denzel hasn't made a flop in awhile. This isn't a Cameron Diaz film...it should be given a chance.
I just seen the movie today and it was pretty good. It had a good story and awesome suspense. It totally isn't crap if you like good on the edge of your seat movies. Go see it, it's absolutely worth your time and money.

It may have had Eva Mendes (a plus) but I hated this twist after twist repeting plot.

Just a quick observation then I'll go away again for awhile. First, I kinda liked the movie, though some of the posts here are right on - e.g., how close Denzel times everything JUST right (just how tense can they try to make it when all he did was transmit a FAX for crying out loud!). Anyway, secondly, why do you waste so much time dissing others for their opinions? They are just that, opinions! And so what if someone who hates a movie is only 16? They are certainly entitled to give an opinion. I once had the unmitigated gall to actually state that I disliked a movie within these pages, and received such a volume of hate responses, (You don't know what's good...you don't know nothing about movies (actual words)) In actuality, I am an actor, director and playwright. As far as whether I have been around the block, the second movie I ever saw was the movie Rocketship X-M at the ripe old age of 4, in the second year of its release. Look it up on IMDB. I've been around awhile.
