I'm still confused on why they aren't together.....does someone know?

Because they make a terrible couple, have zero chemistry, etc.

I see more from him toward her than I do from her toward him - something in his eyes. :)

They were together, however they were not the typical couple.

They were together for a while but broke up. Fans of the couple(which I was not) expected them to get back together in season 10 but it never happened.

I LOVED ERICS CHARACTER SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH, THAT WHEN THEY 'WROTE' HIM 'OFF' THE SHOW, I WILL NO LONGER WATCH IT. :0(

I'm sure Adam Rodriguez writes these scripts too so, he has total control over what his character does. You need to get out more. These are TV shows, not real life.

Plus she is seven years older than he is and she cannot hide it, in spite of lots of makeup.
