Questions about Kyle Harmon?

I know that during the end of CSI: Miami that Kyle enlisted in the
USMC and was deployed to Afghanistan. In the episode he said
his goodbye to his father and then boarded a bus to take him
and the rest of his Marine unit to the Miami airport. So after
this episode was there any further mention of whatever became
of Kyle? Did he come back home or did the writers have him
stationed overseas indefinitely? He seemed to just disappear
towards the end of the show.

His last name was actually Harmon, just fyi. He was pretty much overseas for the rest of the series. I only assume that because they don't show him come home or say he died or anything. I think he was only in one episode after that and it was very brief. He talked to Horatio via Skype or something from Afghanistan.

The last episode Kyle is in is S8 E18, Dishonor. He's home on furlough, and a friend of his ends up being suspected of murder.

reply

I thought that episode was before the one where Kyle Skyped from Afghanistan but I could be remembering wrong.

You may be right. I'm not sure if the episode with the skype conversation was before or after Dishonor, but according to Evan Ellingson's credits, Dishonor was his final CSI Miami episode.

reply

You are right, Keonkwa. It does say Dishonor was his last episode. I don't know either if the episode with the Skype conversation was credited or not.

Okay and thanks so much for your answer. And yes I do recall that
episode, Dishonor. Kyle had to prove that his friend was innocent
of killing his father and his mother turned out to be the killer!

Hmm If I recall correctly, and I might not be as it's been so long since I saw that episode, I think the dead body was the father of Kyle's friend's girlfriend. But it turned out that she was innocent. I don't want to post too many spoilers in case someone who reads this hasn't seen it yet.

Yes you are correct about whom the identity of the victim's
killer turned out to be and thank you!
