Besides being a general jackass throughout the show, the dude was a mouth breather.

Not only that, he was rather unprofessional and had anger management problems. I realize this is TV but IRL his behavior towards colleagues would never be tolerated. Oh and he was a mouth breather. The dude never closed his mouth and you could clearly see him breathing that way.

The thing that bothered you most about Eric is that he's a mouth breather and not his unprofessionalism?

Did he die in an episode? Just surfed through a scene where it looked like he took a shot in the neck. My reaction was HALLELLUJAH... if only the rest of the characters could get taken out by a bus careening off a mountain. AWFUL SERIES.

Head, not neck and they saved him with the Pulp Fiction move (syringe straight to the heart). Didn't skip a beat though, he was back the very next episode although he had memory problems and screwed up a procedure.
