it had a good 10 season run! Better than alot of shows. I will miss it. I do wish they would do a tv movie to finish it out.

with good shows you have to stop them shortly after their peak so people can remember them as great shows
Great minds think alike. When doing scripted shows, it is important to know when to say when. Unfortunately, that's a rule that some studios easily ignore, especially as money trumps the desire to produce good quality episodes. Just because a television show is successful doesn't mean that an endless number of seasons should be foisted upon the viewers.
The way I see it, when a scripted series goes on long enough, it eventually reaches the point where a) it becomes increasingly difficult to come up with effective new story ideas and, b) the cast and crew are at a greater risk of losing an opportunity to end the show with an official series finale. Those are the hazards of keeping a show going long past its sell-by date. When it comes to longevitiy, it is better to let a series quit while it is ahead than overstay its welcome.
It was my favorite of the CSIs too. Just finished Season 10 on DVD, the last season was consistently good. I miss this show!

Thank Goodness! I think David Caruso is the worst actor I have ever seen. Tried to watch this show but just couldn't get past his acting.

The worst was the writing, of all the CSI's this one was surely the worst. Most of the eps must of been written by freshly out of school writers with little talent or imagination.
shareWhen someone was shot "that " cop spent the rest of the day doing paperwork, interviews, etc. These shows show cop shoots someone and he goes back to work.. Ummmm NO! I could go on but 85% of these CSI shows are so Sugary Sweet and Perfect that I prefer to watch the old shows, emergency, Rockford files,columbo . plus those old Great shows had lots of ugly people. I couldn't stand Sanford and son but I'd rather watch that then all the ncis,CSI,hospital etc etc etc...
