Are we encouraging open and honest dialogue....or aren't we?

Chris was clearly having open and honest dialogue with that Extra reporter, just as everyone has always encouraged. We shouldn't be afraid to have open and honest dialogue.....should we?

Clearly Chris is not a racist and is not a bad person. At most, he may simply be somewhat ignorant on how a traditional southern party or cotillion may be perceived as painful to some.

He could have just shut down during that line of questioning. Or, he could have just blindly castigated the contestant who attended those parties. But instead...he was willing to have.......open and honest dialogue. And for that, he was cancelled and replaced.

Is this really the kind of society we want?

The Bachelor Nation shows are nothing more than bitching and complaining about made up drama around social media at this point. The social media age of these shows where people only go on them to be "Instagram Famous" is likely going to lead to their downfall.

I'm kinda glad that this show is reaching its end.

I don't support the black social media trolls who are demanding the removal of that schmuck Chris Harrison but it looks like a foregone conclusion and now they're replacing him with some NFL jock commentator. However, the approach to making The Bachelor more reflective of American society was past due a dozen years ago. I was always surprised that out of all of the ABC programs from reality tv and sitcoms to serial dramas both The Bachelor and Bachelorette pushed the fantasy of pretty white people vying for eternal love. Sure they'd cast a token non-white candidate but they usually exited the show after week 3. This to me spoke volumes on who this show was pandering to, so to see them fumbling over themselves to "correct" a perception I can only see it flailing and losing viewership.

This is just another example of mass media falling victim to its own tactics and how social media has emboldened untalented people.

The show's appealed to a predominantly white audience and now racists liberals have a problem with that. I believe casting should be done on what the lead wants not the social engineering bullshit the left thinks these shows need to be. I'm likely done as the racism is going to kill this franchise.

It's not racist white liberals but itchy Black Social Media trolls who think they can push a false narrative of racial equity by overstepping their presence in a TV show that panders to white people who enjoy the bullshit fantasy of eternal love.

The only people who made a big stink about the schmuck Chris Harrison were no-name Black Social Media trolls who have tens of thousands of "followers" so they somehow think they speak for everyone else.

As I said before, I hope this kills both the Bachelor and Bachelorette series altogether, and hopefully a domino effect takes place killing off more reality shows like the Housewhores of [insert city] and other lowest-denominator reality shows.

reply

Black trolls are still racist liberals. Anyway the show’s ratings are likely going to tank so hopefully they can just cancel it.

reply

No they're mostly Black Fascists in the same vein as White Fascists who see the world ONLY in their world view.

Don't confuse Fascism with Liberalism. It's just like when Liberals confuse Conservatism with Fascism. They're different creatures.
