Liz Sex Story?
Did she just say she hooked up with Nick and didn't give him a phone number? That makes no sense. Why would she even come on the show if that's true.

Yeah....it's funny how she didn't want to date him when he asked for her number but now that he is the bachelor she does......FAME W**RE
NOBODY ASKED YOU, PATRICE! -HIMYM
He even remembers too. Why keep her around. This proves they like to manufacture drama.

I agree with you. She had sex with him but wasn't willing to give her phone number, and then is ready to compete for him when he's the Bachelor? This smells like someone who wants to make the final four or three so she can possibly become the Bachelorette. If she had liked Nick, certainly getting intimate with him would have provided more information than watching a damned reality tv show ("Bachelor in Paradise").

Her story is she didn't think he was someone to get serious with until she saw him on Bachelor Paradise, which is why she turned him down in getting her number that night they had sex.

Yeah but like Nick said, it wasn't hard to get his number. She was Jade's maid of honor. All she had to do was ask her for it. So it still seems iffy that she isn't just being a fame whore. If Bachelor in Paradise made her feel like he was truly someone she could get serious with, then why wait to see him again on TV? Why not get his number from Jade and contact him? This way it looks like she just wants to get famous.
shareI concur. He should be very wary of her motives now seeing she chose the TV option rather than just getting his number off her friend after watching him in BiP. He pretty much let her know she is on thin ice when she was last to get a rose.
shareWell he was pursuing another woman and had a relationship with her in Bachelor in Paradise, and before the finale was shown it was announced he would become the next Bachelor. Her getting his number in that time would be pointless because he was either with another woman already, or he was already scheduled to be the next Bachelor. I doubt he would have turned down the Bachelor offer if she were to get his number and call him. So she figured being one of the contestants seemed like the best option to get to know him on a serious level.
I'm not saying her being on the show isn't suspicious, but the story she told makes complete sense.

Exactly. Why would Liz have asked for his number while BiP was still playing out, and he's dating several women? Anyone in her position would have waited to see how the season ended first.
I don't want to make trouble, all I want is a drink.
Exactly. That's why I don't get other's confusion on her story lol it makes perfect sense.

I am not a prude, I am really not, but I felt old last night.

another to go on tv and proudly talk about it.
I have a theory. The producer commented to Liz in her pre-interview "So you spent the night with Nick", and Liz answered "It depends on what you mean by 'spent the night' ". I interpret that as meaning "we spent the night/evening talking, drinking, maybe a little making out" and also "we didn't sleep together". The later comments/voice-overs of Liz when she says "we had sex" sound cut-and-pasted. The same phrase repeats several times and sounds dubbed in.
Call me naive but maybe it's just my wishful thinking that it wasn't a matter of wham-bam-thank you sir or ma'am.

IIRC, I never actually saw her lips mouth those words. I even thought at the time, "Did she say they had sex?" It was very matter-of-factly and didn't sound quite right.
You have given me hope that romance and some sense of decorum still exists.
Not that things were all perfect in my day, far from it.
I was so expecting to be flamed and bashed over the topic of this thread but the phrase "none of everyone's business" still applies!

Obviously she only got into him when he got famous. But she will stick for awhile. It's too good of a story plus he is physically attracted to her obviously.
sharemy guess is she knew his reputation and really thought he wouldn't call. i say this because she comes off as very insecure to me, and as a fellow insecure woman i can see her thought process being this: she pursued him at the wedding, but there was a lot of drinking. maybe alcohol convinced her to go for it, then she sobered up and didn't want to be humiliated if he never called. she signed up for the show because her best friend had found her husband through the show's network and she decided to go, too. turns out the bachelor is nick, so now she is thinking "oh, he really does want to be engaged. i shouldn't have doubted him. we did have chemistry. now is my chance." now, do i think she should have gone? heck no! she should have taken the missed opportunity as a learning experience and moved on with her life. i am, however, willing to give her the benefit of the doubt that she spun herself into thinking that it was a good idea to pursue this. she seems genuine about it to me at least.
shareBecause she's a ho. A ho who wants fame.

Yep. A dude and a girl who met each other after a few hours screwing at a wedding are totally ready for a life-long commitment. Or maybe they are in it for the money and attention...
