She seems normal, whereas he is just an oily player who regards her as "wife material" ... ie a cute, shy alternative to the other women he's mauling.
I kind of hope she gets eliminated early, takes whatever The Bachelor is paying her and runs.

Agreed. She deserves better than that douche. I actually liked Nick on Bachelor in Paradise. Horrible choice for Bachelor. S21 is officially a failed bit.

I think it's good that they chose a non golden boy for once. Yes it's obvious at the very least he has a prickish side, but I like the change from the mr perfect types they always go for (I don't count Juan Pablo because they thought he was that type as well

She does seem too genuine for the show, but then so did Catherine who ended up with the also genuine Sean.
