When Jimmy asked if Nick found love and was currently happy he said he couldn't say anything. I found that interesting because I remember both Ben Higgins and Kaitlyn Bristowe in the past stating that they were extremely happy when asked that question. I wonder if Nick is currently not with who he picked. Thoughts?

I think it has to do with the fact that in the past he hasn't been successful in finding love, so they're making more about "does he find love or fail once again..."

shareAs someone already said, his storyline around the season revolves around how he has been rejected. So they want to play that up as if he could be rejected at the finale. If he says he is happy beforehand, people know and they cant drum up that buzz.
