Ladies: Never, Ever Slap a Man!

I know that tonight's break-up activity was just for fun and games, but it brings up an important subject.

Unless it's for the purpose of self-defense or for the protection of one's children or other loved ones, a woman should never slap a man. Along with this, a man should never slap a woman, for that matter.

If one is involved in a verbal disagreement, by no means should anyone involved turn the situation into a physical altercation by initiating a slap.

For some reason, many, many women feel as though they have the absolute right to slap a man if the man says something that angers her, and these particular woman feel as though they can slap a man without having to worry about suffering from any repercussions after delivering the slap. Wrong!

One should always remember that the delivery of a slap can be rewarded by getting a slap or worse from the victim of the first slap. You never know how someone may react in that kind of situation, so it's best for people to keep their hands to themselves during an argument. Never, ever assume that anyone that you may slap will simply take the abuse without responding violently.

I used to be a social worker, and I have personally and professionally known a few unfortunate woman who ended up brutally surprised after they decided to slap certain men who did not take kindly to the action. The luckiest of these women only lost a couple of teeth or ended up sporting a black eye or two. The unluckiest of these women... I really don't want to say what happened to them.

Everyone, just keep your hands to yourselves, okay?
