Nick seems like he is just going through the motions
IMO - anyone else? Either 1) he doesn't care what happens, 2) has no personality to speak of or 3) has already picked the winner.
Thoughts?
I don't think he's interested in any of them, but I'm surprised he's so lax about their feelings. He's making out with girls without even trying to be subtle or considerate of the other women's feelings. I'm not sure why he hasn't really been called out on it. I think he's behaving way worse than Juan Pablo did, and Juan Pablo got the villain treatment and exiled from Bachelor universe.
I'm kind of surprised the women aren't jumping ship. Though, this season also seems disjointed and horribly edited. Maybe nobody has any personality, but they're barely showing any conversations between Nick and the girls. Maybe he's forming bonds with some of them, but I would think some of the girls would get bored and just leave. Didn't a bunch of the guys on Caitlin's season quit because they weren't digging her?
I think Nick has cognitive dissonance about the whole thing. On one hand, maybe he really does want to find love and he wants a big family. On the other hand, he's a f grade celebrity now getting paid to model/make appearances at 36, is an obvious ladies man, and probably really enjoys that life.
