kinda entertaining........was it all set up? i mean, is it really haunted or were there mechanisms to make the books fall, etc.?

Good question!
share...you can't be serious. It's obviously like one of those murder mystery set ups where you pay to go there for the night, get told a story and then have crazy stuff happen to be scared for fun. It was so annoying how NOBODY admitted that. How stupid do they think we are...
shareI was thinking the same thing. I found it annoying how fake the "haunted" house was. Even though I know the show itself is fake, for some reason, I can accept that. I just try to enjoy the show in the same way that I enjoy scripted TV shows where I suspend my disbelief temporarily. But when they go so far as to pretend that a chandelier just crashed on it's own when it was obviously set up to crash, I can no longer suspend my disbelief and it just seems like too much BS.
I can enjoy a fictional show about a haunted house and I can enjoy a reality show about people trying to find love that I know is more fiction than actual reality, but combine the two and it just becomes TOO over the top fake and annoying. It feels more like real lies than staged entertainment. BTW, I cannot believe that ANYONE could remotely believe that that was real.
Unless we're all supposed to treat this message board like the "NOSLEEP" subreddit where people write fictional horror stories and everyone knows they're fake, but the rules state that everyone has to treat the stories like they're real and comment on them as if responding to something that actually happened. If that's the case then... OMG, I can't believe they touched that ghost girl's doll!! So scary!!
I couldn't believe what I was saying last night, which was that this was a particularly stupid episode of this show. Yeah, that's right. It's already a stupid show that makes me feel like I'm killing brain cells when I watch it, but this episode stood out as stupid.
Yes, it was all set up. Yes, they asked the girls to act scared. Yes, they told the girls to purposely move the oujia board pointer. And they added special effects, like the eyes moving on the portrait. Dumb, dumb, dumb! (It made me remember an episode in a past season when they edited live snakes or some other scary thing into some segment.)

It was so adorable when Raven said she was going to rebuke the ghost in the name of Jesus.  Gotta love GRITS (girls raised in the south).
That house was beautiful! I wish I could live there. Just get rid of the obvious boobey traps and move in. What an awesome place to live.
kinda entertaining........
Barely. You could tell none of the girls were actually scared at any time.
Even the game of Ouija was a fail.
It was a TERRIBLE date. Actually the whole second half of last nights episode was awful, but that part in particular was just utterly pathetic.
