Good observation! That caught my attention as well and I thought, wow she must be really in control all the time due to her job... but I like your theory better!
To be fair, a LOT of the men and women on the franchise say the setting - no TV, internet, etc - where ALL you talk about with fellow contestants is the bachelor/ette - it sort of brainwashes people in a way. So it is very common for them to feel way more excited than they do in real life. This is ALSO partially why the vast majority of the time, the engagement at the end does not pan out.

I think she will look back and be embarrassed. I hope a lot of them are. Of all the bachelors they have had, Nick be close to the bottom in terms of who I'd swoon over. I guess the Jerry O'Connell younger brother season is worse. Maybe the "Prince."

He does pretty well with women, though. He managed to make it to runner-up twice when the girl had 25 others to pick from, and apparently the Bachelor producers couldn't put together a group of 30 women from across the country without Nick having already slept with one of them, so...
