Raven's story about catching her boyfriend cheating...

Did anyone else find this entire story bizarre? I don't dislike Raven but after that story I just wonder about her. To describe in such detail about him "thrusting her" and "I know what her vagina looks like" and then kicking the door in and beating him on the head with objects. She sounds like a lunatic.

I am not saying cheating is okay by any means but even so, what kind of weird ass behavior is that and who the hell tells the story in words like that? It was just weird to me.

She seems to be proud of the story. And she tells it like she's told it a million times before. But it's super trashy.

She seems to be proud of the story

That is an excellent way to put it.

a lot of people seem to dig her but her voice is grating and she's definitely odd

reply

That was really weird.

I like her but that story (and the whole concept of being physically violent towards a cheating partner being cute and funny) was such a turn off.

reply

I like her as well, but that story made me like her less. It was probably exaggerated as someone else on this board mentioned.

yeah, the whole story seemed a bit too perfect.. like maybe she exaggerated it up some degrees for effect.

Well, to some, that's just how you take care of business in the South. She probably gets a few high-fives every time she tells that story back home. But, she really shouldn't be proud of the way she reacted. I am glad she didn't attack the other woman, though.

Ha, I loved her for it. That is exactly how most people WISH it happened, if it happened. Kicking in the door! It is great. She is real people.

Kicking in the door!

That part didn't even make sense to me. She said she needed a key to get into the house, which she had. But why would you close and lock the bedroom door to have sex if you're the only one home and the house is locked?

To describe in such detail about him "thrusting her" and "I know what her vagina looks like"

They were both being weird. Nick was asking some strange leading questions. He was like, "and they were like ... full on?", which prompted the "thrusting" comment, and then he said later, "So, just to be clear, they're both completely naked?", which prompted the "vagina" comment. Why would he even ask those things? Do they matter? Sex is sex and cheating is cheating regardless of position and/or amount of clothing. Maybe he was just trying to gauge exactly how much he personally might be able to get away with without unleashing her crazy, should the situation arise.

She sounds like a lunatic.

I honestly think she was lying - or, at the very least, heavily exaggerating. He was asking such leading questions because I think she didn't know what she was supposed to say next. She was giggling as if she was proud of it, but she didn't seem overly confident in what she was saying while she was telling the story. Very weird, considering I don't think that's a situation you'd be inclined to forget anytime soon (or possibly ever). So there was a lie or exaggeration in there. In reality she probably walked in, saw them together, screamed at her boyfriend, who quickly got off the other girl, and Raven maybe threw her shoe at him (and probably missed). I don't believe she leapt onto the bed, pushed him off of the other girl and started beating him over the head with her stiletto. And if she did, I think she'd be inclined to downplay it, not wear it as some badge of honour.

Now ... why she would lie about that, I don't know. Maybe she thought it made her sound tough? And Nick clearly wanted her to say stuff like that, which is why he asked such bizarre questions. Otherwise he's just a douchebag, asking a girl to recount (in excruciating detail) what was probably a very traumatic and hurtful moment in her life.

reply

Or the show prompted her to exaggerate?

reply

I'd say that's highly likely. Kind of makes you wonder what exactly is in those contracts they sign. What else can they make them do?
