omg, i've been down to st. john, st. thomas, and spent some time living on st. croix-----the vibes down there are still palpable, in all the old sugar mill ruins, forts, and other abominable places where Columbus and the Dutch first landed, took over, and enslaved and tortured many, many natives!

i wish they'd touch on the true history of those islands, instead of some off handed uneducated remark like "oh ain't it so great"

I don't think the goal of the Bachelor is to educate people sadly! But I agree, It would have been nice to have a 'history' sort of date once in a while. Given the show is all about what scrap of drama they can find nowadays, I don't see it happening.
