Not getting a 1-1 date, he's not into you

I think episode 5 is pretty much the last point at which you can get a 1 on 1 and still have a shot at 'winning'. Even the woman who gets the last one on one in episode 6 almost never makes it to even the final 2.

I understand why they get discouraged by the lack of attention...I would imagine it is really bad for the ego to realize that you don't have a real shot but still haven't been cut, so it's like weird purgatory for a contestant like Jasmine. Plus she has alluded to the fact that she never has issues attracting attention in the real world, so she was not handling this scenario well since basically night 1.

But yeah...her ego got in the way of reality. A normal person would just recognize that he was more interested in other girls, but she could not reason that out for herself and just cut her losses or wait it out. I know Corinne is supposed to be the entitled brat of the season, but Jasmine was throwing her hat into the ring with that "I've been to St. Thomas and I don't need this" speech. Girl, I would trade places with you just to be on an island vacation even if no one so much as looked in my direction all day.
