I thought I saw on IMDB a movie page for CITH 2??? Does anyone know anything about that? I guess it was called off.

I don't think so, after the Cat in the Hat's critical and commercial failure. The Dr. Seuss estate won't allow anymore of he's stories turned into films. There was a planned film sequel based on the book The Cat in the Hat comes Back. But after the failure of the film that idea was also scrapped.

They can be turned into films, Just animated.

After the failure of this film, Seuss' widow has gone out of her way to make sure ALL of her husband's books are animated. If you look her up its the first bit of trivia on her name.
