I think it’s the parents that condemned the movie, kids love it. Or perhaps everyone was expecting more a tear jerking epic because of The Grinch. Usually when a mainstream movie flops, I like it anyway. It’s just annoying that we’re probably going to have to wait years for a BD release.

shareThe movie wasn't bad bad, it had good moments and bad. Definitely not a good movie by far. It felt really cheesy and low budget.
The problem is it seems lots of people watching it are "drooling from the side of their mouths" retarded and didn't get the jokes or were CitH fans from the 80's when the animated version painted things much different. Even I was surprised by the more adultish humor and risky for children scenes.

Oh man, this movie was awful. It was painful to watch. It was unfunny. Mike Myers hasn't done anything good since Wayne's World, yes, I hated Shrek and Austin Powers. 3.6 is being way too generous, this movie deserves a very low 2 or 1. Even though I didn't like The Grinch either, I thought it was much better than this pile of crap.
