No More Live action Seuss

Apparently, as a end result of this movie, Seuss's widow vowed that no more live action movies would be made. She detested it. So, to all the lovers (2 of you) this movie sucked that bad.

Good. I'm glad she came to her senses. They still did Horton Hears a Who as a cartoon feature, though. I think they should just leave well enough alone.

yeah, I was going to mention "Horton", but I guess that doesn't count since it was animated. I think it's kind of a shame, honestly, only because some of his stories DO have potential to be awesome movies (like "The Grinch" with Jim Carrey). But I definitely get where she's coming from with that decision. "Cat in the Hat" was horrible and I'm sure she feels like it's a disgrace to her late husband's name. They definitely destroyed this movie - it could have been great.

Good!
The 2D animated features are fine but live action Grinch was crap imo and I have no plans to see all of cat in the hat.

I'm riding an elephant to your house. I'll see you at six.

The same is true of Mary Poppins, and this was actually the author not their spouse.

reply

I'm upset with that. I love Dr. Seuss Live Action.
