Thumbs up if you think THIS is better than Barney's Great Adventure!

I grew up watching Barney's Great Adventure when I was little, and when I was in third grade I remember seeing this movie in the theater and thinking it was very funny. Nowadays, I still think this is a very funny movie and not at all atrocious in my opinion, but that Barney's Great Adventure is totally for babies and deserves razzie award nominations while I think this movie does not. Let me know which movie you think is better. I'd just go for Cat in the Hat all the way.

While they're both terrible in different ways, one was clearly intended for younger children while one was trying to be for adults and children of all ages but just felt very uncomfortable

Probably because they love the book and cartoon. And feel this urinates profusely on Dr. Seuss' legacy.

Shall we perhaps establish a board where nothing but the most gushing praise is allowed for all films/TV shows and all types of criticism is censored?

On another board they called someone a dickwad and told them to drop dead because they dared to criticize this awful movie. I'd say any chance of a civil discussion with them is already out the window...
