Does ANYone know who was behind it?

Ok...so it was just on TV and I usually, am not one for horror flicks. But this one looked good so I watched it. The only reason I watched it was because I wanted to know know who was behind it. I wanted to know why they killed (or did they???) everyone that came through that town. Why did they take take the clothes and the flashlights? What were they building with the car parts? Why did everyone seem to "reamin behind" what happend to them? What was with the new graves in the cemetery? PLEASE please please if you know I really want to cuz its gunna bug me. Thanks so much!!!

The people behind the kidnappings and stuff were people who became deformed due to the Nuclear bombs(radiation) the F.B.I., or whoever, planted when they wanted to test them out. And the radiation affected the people and made their children physically deformed. And they killed anyone who came through there because of they hated all normal looking people because they shunned them and isolated them. So the Deformed things held a grudge.

Yeah, and they remade this movie recently, called The Hill's Have Eyes. I think it goes into depth about all your questions a little better.

They remade not this movie, but the original movie "The Hill's Have Eyes" by Wes Craven :)
And this one is one of the dumbiest movies I saw recently.

The whole time I was watching this I was thinking of "The Hills Have Eyes".

This post is completely incorrect.

Those responsible for the kidnappings were not the deformed people from the past. This part is left open to interpretation, but it's suggested to be a supernatural force. Hence the big dust cloud, and the fact that the victims stay in the town afterward.

The neutron bomb has nothing to do with the FBI.

There's nothing at all in the movie that suggests they hate normal looking people "because they shunned and isolated them". In fact, the town itself is isolated, hence the inhabitants would have by definition isolated themselves.

The remake of this movie is not called The Hills Have Eyes. That movie is a remake of a 1977 Wes Craven film by the same name.

In short, pretend you never read the parent post.

nobody knows. perhaps whoever "they" were, took over the bodies of the families, and the new graves were for their no-longer-needed deformed bodies.

it was just a supernatural force

You were right when you said there is nothing human left in me!
