Yeah, I agree. In fact, after seeing promos for Hills have eyes (I never saw the original), I instantly thought of this movie. Of course, this is toned down alot for TV.
shareyeah its on TBS right now and ive been watching it and immediately i thought of the hills have eyes. There is so many parts that are too similar to just be a coincidence.

shareI saw "Hills Have Eyes" and I started asking people if they ever saw "Disappearace" and no one knew what I was talking about. Neither of these movies are origional anyways... but they totally ripped the idea from this movie imo.

Sometimes it's easy to say, "That's your opinion and you're entitled to it". But in this case, your opinion is flat out wrong. Disappearance is from 2002. The Hills Have Eyes is from 1977. No further explanation is needed.
disappearance is in no way a ripoff of Hills, but the new Hills has many accusations that it ripped off disappearance more than it remade Hills
