Song at the end of the movie

What was it?

reply

It's a Coldplay song...off the first album (Parachutes). I forget the name of the song, but I think it's called Shivers. The chorus goes, "We live in a beautiful world..."

onlymaxpower-

actually (as they say later in the board) the song is Clocks. However you're thinking of the song "Don't Panic", the first track off of parachutes, and yeah, it kicks ass.

reply

"Clocks" by Coldplay off the album called "A rush of blood to the head"

reply

Thanx. You guys rule!

I, too, love it! I've been a Coldplay fan for quite some time. "Clocks" is my fave song off of RUSH. Sorry, I just love Coldplay so much that I was compelled to write. Buh bye now!

I love Coldplay!

But the singer can't sing??? His voice croaks when he tries to hit a high note.

And all the songs are at 50bpm.

BTW, the BBC having been using this song (instrumental) for thier digital services ad campaign.

I love Coldplay, quality British band, as much as i tried to brush them off I can't, i can't help but hum their songs, they are very good.

reply

Coldplay are a boring, generic, mid-pace 'rock' band. They are only famous because of the lack of real bands around because record companies wont risk the money in different and new new talent. Coldplay are are a poor mans oasis, copying them after they started going a bit crap.

I'm sorry i though this was NME.com. How many turgid slow-burn rock melodies do we have to listen too before we get something goo? Just listen to radio head or old oasis albums. They are much better.

reply

Radiohead, Oasis and Coldplay are all S**T...
The Darkness rule!!!

.......

Please never talk again. The world would be a better place.

reply

I must admit, Oasis are a bunch of a--holes but that is part of their charm. Their music is great and i have not heard a bad album by them yet. So far every thing ive heard by coldplay is pretty good, a lil' laid back but pretty good. I'll get off my soapbox now.

reply

what the hell are you talking about? Coldplay doesn't sound like oasis.

i never said they did. they are both british bands and somebody posted an unkind word about both of them and i felt the need to represent. is that ok with you?!?
