can someone tell me what happens at the end after they catch Dustin Hoffman's character with the coke or heroin? I was at my parents house and they have a VCR and the tape screwed up. What all happened after that it's like the last ten minutes...any help would be greatly appreciated. :)
shareBasically Jake tells Lupus that King was caught and before Lupus is ready to shoot Jake, Morris Chestnut's character comes in and shoots Lupus in the head. Going back to the alley, Jake thanks Chestnut for doing what he did. Chestnut and Lily then demand to know where the money is. Jake says its most likely in the hands of the Feds. Chestnut starts counting to 10 until he shoots Jake, that is until Lily pulls out a gun and shoots Jake in the chest. Chestnut yells at Lily for doing that with him around and they both drive off. Jake's voice over talks about people asking the right questions sooner or later like the Feds wanting to kno why they were sent to bust Manzano and Whitworth. Manzano and Whitworth would wanna kno how the heroin got into the bags. King and Morgan Price would want to kno where the money went. And everyone would wanna know what agency Gunther Butan worked for. Back to the alley, Butan pulls up by Jake's dead body and asks if he needs a ride. Jake gets up and gets the money from Butan as its revealed that he was in on it the whole time. As Butan leaves, Gordo pulls up with Miles and Lily in the car. Jake talks about planning every move like a chess match as they show moments from the movie like that ex. Lupus telling the King Jake's trying to *beep* him. They ride off with Gordo driving, Miles in shotgun, Jake and Lily in the back as they eventually kiss to end the movie.
