2. Is Brian Van Holt in it a lot or is he just in like one scene? I LOVE HIM! lol

Have you seen it yet? I rented it a couple years ago and then bought the DVD when I found it in the "cheap" bin at Wal-Mart. I really liked the movie. It had an Ocean's Eleven-feel to it.

yeh everybody says it's a good movie. That's why i want to see it. I haven't seen it yet. Plus Brian Van Holt is in it and he is soooo cool! was he in the movie much?

reply

He was in there as part of their grifter team but most of his parts aren't very memorable or didn't stand out much, IMO. He did throw in a few jokes, though. I actually had to look up his bio as I had an *idea* who he was but wasn't quite sure. Paul Giamatti has about the same screen time, but he used it wisely and is very funny. Brian on the other hand was just being "cool".

OH...yeh in a lot of his movies, he plays parts that are not small, but not big ones either, except in House of Wax. He did play a very big part in that b/c he was the bad guy. lol i am obsessed w/ him. i cant help it... my friends always laugh when they see me wearing this dog tag i bought that has his name on it. lol Idk wat it is, but he is juss sooooo hot!

horrible movie I thoght, hollywood post-tarantino at it´s worst, directly to video, Dustin Hoffman did an embarrasing job in this movie, one of the worst cases of overacting ever seen. A friend of mine insisted on renting this when we were at the videstore.
dont rent it, as it´s total waste of ur life.

My my... aren't you the a$$hole?

There's only one thing I hate.
People.
I focking hate you.

I think this is one of the best heist movies ever. I'd argue why I think that, but it might give something away or something. I would deffinately reccomend it.

Wow furious comment slinging!

Well I actually went to the cinema to see this movie in San Fran (Check out the AMC on Van Ness, Such a beautiful lobby) and was quite impressed with it. Subsequently I have bought it on DVD and still really enjoy it. In response to Dustin Hoffman comments I think for a nervously wracked and emotionally volatile insecure little man complex power monger with ADHD Hoffman comes off quite sincere and evokes the type of character you'd expect to find around Hollywood/Vine..but it's all conjecture and this is only my opinion. I would recommend this movie for the intelligent twist move lovers.
