Every two-three years I find myself watching this show again. It's just something I need to do, need to go back to those familiar faces I know will always be there for me.
This month I wanted to find the episode where Sam prepared coq au vin for Mr Foyle. I must have missed it, so I checked in the internet and look what I found:

shareThanks for the link. I had no idea. The phenomenon of fan extension of characters, story lines is interesting but a little lost on me. I'm pleased to learn this excellent series warranted this act of devotion/imagination. Glad the actual series didn't take this turn but still...interesting.
shareUgggh, no thank you! The whole thing conjures up a horrible image and something that Foyle would never ever do. They might as well have written about how Foyle pocketed a few bribes, collaborated with the Nazis and beat up a few Homosexuals.
Things he would never do. Interesting that someone felt the need to do it though but it is an abomination.
