Really slooooow bike chase

Is it just me, or is the bike chase just after Liu blows up Antonio's prision bus thing really *beep* slow? It's like they're doing 30kph. I mean even some random bus has no problem matching the speed of the bikes.

I don't know why they couldn't have used stunt men to at least go a little faster or done something in CGI. It just looks so stupid. Moreso than the rest of the film.

I thought the same thing,, i was expecting a nice, fast, exciting chase...yet they seem like they were holding the handbrake. If you listen, you can hear the engine sound like it is barely even revving. I still thought it was a cool movie though--definetly underated.

My thought as well.. Most action scenes were what I'd deem acceptable, but the bike/car chase just wasn't on par..

What I do sometimes when watching a car chase is mute the sound. Oftentimes, the filmmakers add the sound of a high revving engine. People associate the high rpms with fast movements, and so it adds to the illusion. But just turn the sound off when watching a cheesed up flick, and the action looks ridiculous

I couldnt believe how many faults this movie had. The bike scene was the most absurd of all.

The bikes were a Buel (a harley sporster engine in a sportbike frame designed by Eric Buel. A POS when it compares to any sportbike Lucy was on the Buel) The soundtrack was only correct for that bike for a second or two. Consider how a Harley sounds.... ROFL.

The second bike was a BMW which would have had the Buel for a light snack except on a very tight track.

Either of these bikes would have left the cars that were chasing them for dead.

If Barbie is so popular, why do you have to buy her friends?
