Is it really that bad?

The thing I don't understand about this movie is, sure, this movie sucks but it is not as suck as reality-defying movies like Once upon a time in Mexico: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0285823/ or Planet Terror: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0462322/, which are generally considered by 'fans' as 'masterpieces'.

My question really is 'why is that'? Because latter movies have an audience? That's what I think, for the time being..

lol, if you think I'm defending, you got me wrong.

I'm saying Planet Terror and Once upon a time in Mexico is as crap as this. Period. But people like you "praise" these films because you confuse these crap films with "art house" films.

Only Death Proof in Grindhouse was a worthy look. Robert Rodriguez should quit directing or go to Bollywood if he continue to do un-realistic "pipe dream" movies.

Planet Terror ws awesome, because it wanted to be BAD. Because, Grindhouse was a kind of tribute to those Double Features. So, don´t put Planet Terror in that list. Once Upon a Time in Mexico is kind of confusing. El Mariachi is a very good movie, though.

No. It's not THAT bad. Actually I think this was ok and entertaining. But this movie is quite far from a masterpiece. I gave this 6 out of 10. But I viewed this as an action movie, not as art.

Hey, I liked Once Upon a Time in Mexico! It was stylish and well acted if nothing else.

I thought it was really bad. Its been playing on HBO a lot for some reason, even though it's terrible, I find myself watching it for the scene where the sniper falls from the roof onto the car. It is among the coolest sequence I've ever seen, and I'm desperately trying to find out how they shot it.

Once Upon a Time in Mexico was a great film. Ballistic made little sense.
