So many dark themes in this film

* Severe depression. Passive suicidal behavior, one suicide attempt and alcoholism. As well as a sex addiction. All from the main character.

* A mildly Autistic, severely obese child bullied to Hell left to fend for himself with a grandmother with dementia. His Dad's in prison too.

* A black man with dwarfism (double whammy) who resorts to criminality and his presumably fresh off the boat materialistic Vietnamese wife who aids in his crime sprees. Both murder one person and attempt to murder the main character.

It's a funny movie. Don't get me wrong. But it's full of dark themes and deeper social commentary than the typical black comedy.
