I would like to talk about the "N" Word.

As a white Italian-American male, who is born and raised in New York, I never said that word once when I was out in public, but good lord I literally hear it everyday. And, the only reason why I don't like to use it is because I am not Black. My area is also very diversified with all different kinds of people, whites, blacks, russians, mexicans, Jewish, chinese, arabic, etc. And all these people are saying The "N" word all day, everyday. Some of my black friends and even white friends who I hang out with too, even call me a *beep* sometimes too. I hate it when I see Asians using it and Russians using it too. I don't think the "N" word is a word that should be used coming from people of non-African ancestry.

But as for my own personal time, when i listen to music or watch a film that illustrates gansta language, I like listening to the word myself and I sing and rap to these songs as much as I can. Up to this point in my life, being around all kind of people who say this word every, I just feel it is very temping for me to start saying it too, yet I won't. Is there any different between a White guy and Black guy being born raised in NY? They are going to both grow up around the same environment and influence. So if that is the case, why it is only ok for black mean to say it, but not white man either?

If your dego ass wants to say *beep* go ahead and say *beep* But don't feel some social obligation to not say *beep* because you are a white WOP.

That's just obe *beep* opinion.

The N word is more of an American term now, the way it is used, since people, of all races, AT LEAST born in the USA are using it. I think it is more of a derogatory term now for Americans, not blacks. Even black people from Africa do not use this word.

well I tried, somehow I don't believe you could be this clueless.

Or less only Americans use it. I am an American who lives in Asia and works in Saudi. I have mostly British friends here and they use it quite a lot. I teach in Saudi and my Saudi students use it often, even in the presence of their Saudi friends. It is international.

I always found it interesting yet disturbing how you people are so infatuated with the "N-Word", while ignoring the fact that you people call your own women *beep* Why is that never a topic of discussion with you people? Why do you people feel the need to always discuss what black folks are doing while ignoring your own issues? Is it a self esteem thing? Does it make you people feel better about your miserable lives? Help me understand the logic of you people and why you do these things.
