One thing that had me pondering for a while after watching the series several times. After Omar stole the whole shipment from the Co-Op and goes back to Joe and offers to sell him back the whole shipment. Being as smart as Joe was why wouldn't he just have Cheese and Slim take him out? It would have saved Joe even more problems in the future.
shareHe wouldn't have got his shipment back then, would he? New shipment would've cost him a lot more than what Omar was asking for it, and other Co-Op members were reluctant to pay. Omar wasn't dumb either, he wouldn't have went back to Joe if he didn't expected him to be pragmatic about it.
Besides, Joe din't really had any problems with Omar later on.
He certainly had problems with Omar. Omar was initially coming at Joe for what Marlo's guys did to Butchie
shareFunny enough, those problems all started because of Joe's own deviousness. He was the one who directed Omar to rob Marlo's poker game in order to push Marlo into joining the Co-op. Omar found out and confronted Joe, then extorted the information that he used to steal the shipment, which made Marlo even more bloodthirsty towards Omar, which led to Butchie being tortured and murdered.
