did stringer take part in the murder of brandan ?
did he torture him or just possibly observe the kill

I doubt Stringer was anywhere near the actual deed. The closest he would probably get is being in the car with the killers before they get Brandon. Even though he was very hands on in season 1, I don't think he would put himself in the same room as a murder if he wasn't the one doing the killing. Its never been confirmed so it could be a possibility though.
