About why Baltimore is in the state it is in today? I'm a Brit and am finding the few bits I know about Baltimore very interesting. Given it was once considered one of the nicest homeliest places to live in the States once upon a time, but is now... well not, I'd love a good documentary on how the city lost its way.

Any suggestions are highly appreciated.

Do you really need a documentary? Thats kinda what the Wire was like, no? The show is pretty much the story of how the city lost its way.
