sharei've wondered about this too. All the evidence and testimonies wouldn't matter - Wee Bey's confessed to it and is happy to do the time for it, so the bosses wouldn't care, so it wouldn't even get as far as going to trial.
You saw in Season 4 the flak that Bunk got for "unsolving" the murder in Andre's store. Why would this be any different
