Queen Latifah

I havent seen this movie, and im not extremely attracted to it, but being a large fan of Chicago, and really loving Latifah in it, how was she as an actress in this film, without a splashy musical number?

I viewed this film just the other day. Queen Latifah, Brings the House Down! If you liked her performance in "Chicago", you will absolutely love her performance in this film. Such talent, and personality this lady has; you can't help but love her... If you are offended or sensitive to racial slurs, you may not enjoy this movie. -Jim in Southern Oregon

Queen Latifah is great in this movie! She's so funny. I think she has this vibe that's irristable. I saw it the Sunday after it came out. It's so funny. The whole audience was raving crazy when Queen Latifah came into the picture. You have to see this movie. The Catfight and everything. It's great.

What does this have to do with her performance in the movie??

(And being named after a mustard and mayonaise blend by French's, you shouldn't make fun of a person's name)

Man, I can't wait till you two wake up and carry on this amazing duel.
Imagine if you put your efforts into something vaguely useful!

Ok, here's my opinion. It was rude of me to interject without telling you what I think.

Queen Latifa is *beep*. Her attempts at making music are as great as her choice of movie roles.
She is also, not just my opinion but fact, fat.

OK her performance in the movie was degrading to her race as well as her above statement. It should be called bringing down the decent public view of black people. Her performance was Kangaroo Jack worthy. Dijonaise pertains to my real name, and it is a condiment, very sharp-witted of you to notice, but it's a lot different than naming yourself royalty, when your really just a whore for 3 different businesses that I can think of. #1.She sold her vagina, possibly other holes for money. #2. She stated she had never met a good white person, then made a video called UNITY because some producer told her to. #3. She pretended to like white people for this movie as well as other recent events. Case closed.

I THINK U ARE LIEING IF THIS IS SOOOO F***** TRUE THEN JUST POST THE LINK THAT SHE SAID AND DID ALL THIS U F***TARD !!!!! oh and BY THE WAY AZZHAT GO BACK TO YO PLAYPIN BABY!!!!!!!!!!

reply

I saw Queen Latifah say "If there's any good white people out there I've never met one." I also heard her say she's been a prostitute before. Not to mention she got arrested with drugs and an illegal gun. That and she named herself Queen Latifah, what kinda weird sh1t.

OK SO U THINK U ALL THAT AN THEN SOME ?? N!GGA PLEASE DON'T EVEN TRY IT AIIGHT FIRST OF ALL SO WHAT IF SHE DID ALL THE CRIMES THERE WAS IN THE DAYS ??? IT DON'T MATTER NOW CAUSE SHE HAVES A BETTER LIFE THEN U DO , U AZZHAT !!! AND FURTHER MORE U ARE JUST JEALOUS CAUSE SHE GOT ALL THE MONEY THEN YO MOMMY DOES

I think when the text box starts shrinking as you head south on your web page the argument has gone on a little too long.

reply

Well more fool you. The quote of "good white people" comes from the political activist and rap singer Sister Souljah. She is fat and is black and has most certainly appeared on MTV, but is most certainly NOT Queen Latifah. Perhaps they all look the same to you? I think this tells us enough about your attitude towards your fellow man.

Just so you don't feel the need to throw any speculative slander at me, I AM white and AM dating a black woman. She is intelligent, erudite and seriously sexy, and consequently way out of your league. A shame really as perhaps a little "chocolate lovin" would melt your hard little white heart...

Rather than hurl abuse I suggest you do a little internet research of your own, rather than swallow the unsubstantiated opinion and bile of your agenda pushing friends.

P.S. I thought the movie was pretty poor and have seen Latifah in better, but can at least take pleasure in a charisma that you singularly lack...

PREFACE >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
The body of this message was composed before Dijonaise removed his initial posting exhorting me to "go back to Africa you N****R lover"
I am pleased to see that he has chosen to censor his own words and is seemingly open to reasoned debate and prepared to back down. Good show sir! I guess there then is hope for everyone.

Well thank you for coming out of the closet and showing us your true colours. I think we know where your motivation comes from and suggest that you take this thread to the Klans R Us bulletin boards and stop foisting your hateful little opinions on a cinema loving public.

I also command you to go back to Africa yourself. It was where you came from 30,000 years ago in our human evolution. Your great, great, great, grandaddy was black, or did your white, anti-abortionist, anti-evolutionist, made in his own image God create your fetid little family line in the Eden, Alabama backwoods already walking on hind legs and white as the Alaskan snow?

I can only hope that some day some handsome negro fire-fighter pulls your sorry ass out of some burning building, and you will go through the rest of your life knowing a black man owns you.

Think on it???

Evolutionists claim the earth is billions of years old. But here, in these excerpts from The Collapse Of Evolution , by Scott Huse, is scientific proof of a young earth...information your evolution teacher would rather not discuss.

The strength of the earth's magnetic field has been measured for well over a century. This provides scientists with exceptionally good records. In an important recent study, Thomas G. Barnes has shown that the strength of the earth's magnetic field is decaying exponentially at a rate corresponding to a half-life of 1,400 years. That is to say, 1,400 years ago the magnetic field of the earth was twice as strong as it is now. If we extrapolate back as far as 10,000 years, we find that the earth would have had a magnetic field as strong as that of a magnetic star! This is, of course, highly improbable, if not impossible. Thus, based on the present decay rate of the earth's magnetic field, 10,000 years appears to be an upper limit for the age of the earth.

reply

Nice try buddy, but you have to be wary of your extrapolations. If we assume a direct linearity in global air temparatures then we would be looking at permanently sub-zero temperatures from around 100 years ago, but where was the Victorian Ice Age? The earth's magnetic field varies cyclicly, as does its temperature. The current decline in strength is in correlation with an occassional flip in the earths magentic poles, look up Magnetic Reversal in any Geology book, for a breakdown.

QUOTE >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
The earth's magnetic field has reversed approximately 170 times over the last 100 million years. The intensity of the magnetic field has been decreasing over time since it has been measured and some scientists expect that at the current rate of decline, there may be another magnetic reversal in approximately 2000 years. That's a good enough time to replace all of our compasses :)

You need to think of a sine wave rather than a straight line.

The problem I have with taking one tiny point of evidence and extrapolating a whole argument out of it is you get sucked into trying to make a point, rather than honestly posing a working hypothesis for the broad range of facts that are there for all to see.

What then do we make of dinosaur skeletons? Why are there no cavemen paintings of them, why does the bible give them no mention. Do we fall back on that argument that God put them there to test our faith. What a trusting guy. Rather than try and use this pseudo-science, perhaps you can give me some kind of scientific evidence for the existence of God.
